Oh please, someone shoots me now (joke!)… I am so tired to hear this sentence! “You don’t have children, you don’t know how it is to be with them all the time”, “You can’t understand how strong love is until you have children”, “You don’t know what being tired means…”.Please don’t assume a nanny doesn’t understand how it is like to be with children all the time. As nannies trust me WE KNOW!

As a full time nanny you actually spend more time with the children in their first years before the school takes over, than their own parents. The usual week hours I have worked were 50 hours per week, 48 weeks per year.

So as a favour to the world, stop thinking you are better or more important, a bit of humility goes a long way. We are all in the nappy mess together, so here is a tip for you:
